Character Counts is collecting items to be delivered to the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) Department at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Parents and caregivers are often at the hospital for extended periods of times without personal hygiene essentials and toiletries. We’d like to offer care packages to these parents to make life a little bit easier during a difficult time. We are collecting brand new travel-sized items that haven’t been opened. Many of these items can be purchased at the Dollar Tree or the sample isle at Target/Wal-Mart.  Our goal is to create 40 care packages. Even just donating 1 or 2 items will be very helpful. Items can be brought to the May 4th Open House to be dropped off.
