This school year marks the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the National PTA Reflections art program!
The never-to-be-repeated-theme for 2018-19 is “Heroes Around Me”!
The Windsor PTA Reflections Committee invites students (K – 5th) to explore their talents and express their ideas and inspiration from the real heroes in their lives by creating works of art in any of the six art areas for fun and recognition!
Only original works of art are accepted. The six art areas are: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.
Submissions are due to the Windsor main office by Friday, October 26th. How to Enter, Official Rules, & Student Entry form can be picked up in the main office or downloaded and printed using the link below.
We are excited to announce the 2nd annual Reflections Participation Celebration – an event that celebrates the student of SD25 and their 2018/19 “Heroes Around Us” works of art – hosted by the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs (AHC). The Reflections Participation Celebration & Showcase will be held on Wed, Jan 30th from 7-8pm (Windsor Elementary Commons)!
This is a wonderful opportunity to let our young artists shine! So please encourage your child to participate because we like celebrating our Wildcats and providing positive recognition!

Mark your calendar for SPOTLIGHT ’19 taking place at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois on Sunday, May 5th 2019. This day is a free celebration of arts for all children in Illinois including arts workshops, Reflections galleries, & student recognition. More information will be shared in the coming months from the Illinois PTA Reflections.
