Windsor Chess Club – Sessions I, II, & III

Open to any Wildcat interested in learning chess!

Wildcats are invited to attend the kick-off day of a session to test their interest, bring a friend, learn to play the game of Kings and Queens!  This program is taught by Coach Paul Raso and his fellow Illinois Chess Teachers.  Also see Illinois Chess Teacher Flyer sent home via backpack mail.

The start of each session is kicked off by a Friday Free Pizza Party.  Ongoing lessons require registration * and payment (reminder, if registering multiple siblings use the code(s) listed on the flyer to save money).  We also need parent volunteers, a sign-up link is below **.

Chess Club Schedule for 2018/19 school year, Fridays 3:35 -4:35 pm in the LMC:

• Session I (8-weeks) Fridays: 9/21, 9/28, 10/12, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/30, 12/7 (no chess 10/5 or 10/19)
• Session II (8-weeks) Fridays: 12/14, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22
• Session III (8-weeks) Fridays: 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10 (CURRENT SESSION)

** Windsor PTA asks the parents/guardians of chess club members to sign up for at least one Friday during the current session to help supervise students and assist coaches at dismissal.  Thank you!
