Building Community
Our PTA houses committees that build up and serve our Community. Events below depend on volunteer organizers and participants to make them happen. As with any PTA activity held on school grounds, school administration has full oversight.
Veterans Breakfast – A favorite event for our PTA and school is to honor and celebrate Veterans on or around November 11th. Our PTA hosts a breakfast and the school hosts a morning celebration and walking-parade. Space is limited. Welcome / New Families Committee – Focuses on supporting new families and families of Kindergartners and/or 1st graders. Please email Lindsay Arndt at dlarndt11@gmail.com, Chair of our Welcome / New Families Committee, with any questions and/or to help out.
Back-to-School-Social – Our Back-to-Social-Social Committee welcomes students back to school and offers a way for Wildcat families and friends to reconnect after summer break. Please email Suchi Joshi Soni at vp2@windsorpta.org to Chair our Back to School Social in August of 2025.
Family Fun Events – Free events open to Wildcat students and families. Date, activity, and format varies from year to year. This year, our PTA will be hosting an Outdoor Family Movie Night on September 27, 2024 from 6:30-9:00 PM on the Windsor blacktop as our Fall Family Fun Event. In the Spring, our PTA will host Spring Fling on May 30, 2025 from 5:30-7:30 PM on the Windsor blacktop to celebrate the end of our 2024-2025 school year. Yearbooks – Our Yearbook Committee is dedicated to creating a unique way to remember the achievements, special days, students, teachers, and staff every year. Offered at cost for a limited time in February. Only online ordering is available. Delivery is typically to students/classrooms the final week/day of school. Windsor Cares Committee – Organizes ways for families and students to provide services and resources to our school and community. Windsor Cares typically organizes a Halloween Costume Drive, Winter Gear Drive, V-Day Card Collection, and Yearbook assistance every year.
