Multicultural Week & Windsor’s World!

In Spring of 2023 and 2024, Windsor PTA’s Every Wildcat Counts (EWC) and Cultural Arts committees partnered with Windsor Administration and Staff to bring Windsor School’s very first Multicultural Week and ‘Windsor’s World: Celebrating Us’ to our Windsor community. We are thrilled to inform our Windsor community that both events will be returning in the Spring of 2025! Multicultural Week will be March 10-14, 2025 and Windsor's World will be March 13, 2025 from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Windsor Commons!

During Multicultural Week, our students will experience multicultural Specials classes (Art, Music, PE, and LMC). In the past, students have learned Japanese origami and Indian rangoli in Art; African drumming in Music; Korean Jegichagi and Greek & Salsa dancing in PE; and about the Jewish festival of Purim in LMC. This year, our students will be learning and exploring all-new cultural activities from around the world! 

‘Windsor’s World’ is Windsor’s evening event during Multicultural Week and is open to our entire Windsor community (families, friends and neighbors of Windsor). Please join us for a fun evening as our very own Windsor students and staff (teachers and administration) share trifold poster displays with pictures, stories, artifacts, and food from their own cultural heritage(s). Last year, we had over 90 students and dozens of staff members participate. It is a wonderful evening of warmth, learning and sharing!
