Every Wildcat Counts

The Windsor PTA strives to build a sense of community for all students and their families. Every Wildcat Counts (EWC) is a committee of the Windsor PTA whose main goal is to foster belonging and mutual understanding with respect to diversity, equity and inclusion in everyday practices at Windsor and within the PTA.

The EWC Committee was formed in 2021 and some of its achievements thus far include:

– A ‘Colors Around the World’ Drive to provide crayons, markers and dolls representative of all skin tones to Windsor classrooms

– Creating displays for the Windsor LMC to celebrate various Heritage and Awareness months

– Assisting with the planning and implementation of Windsor’s Multicultural Week and ‘Windsor Around the World’

– Supporting the District 25 School Board in creating the Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) position for District 25

– Ability Awareness Week in partnership with the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization
